NTL wins 2012 ALIA NT Recognition Award

Congratulations to the Northern Territory Library's 19 February 1942 Roll of Honour team from for winning the 2012 ALIA NT Recognition Award!

NTL marked the 70th anniversary of the Bombing of Darwin in February with the launch of an online Roll of Honour, recording and remembering those killed on 19 February 1942. The team produced an accurate list of names providing biographical details, photographs and personal stories for each person killed.

Library and Information Week Dinner, Thursday 24 May 2012

The theme for Library and Information Week in 2012 is Think Outside the Book!

 

To celebrate Library and Information Week and the presentation of the 2012 ALIA NT Recognition Award, ALIA TOP END is inviting you to dinner at Tim’s Surf ‘n’ Turf on Thursday 24 May 2012.


VENUE: Tim’s Surf ‘n’  Turf Restaurant in Litchfield Street in the City

DATE: Thursday 24 May 2011

TIME: 6.30 pm

COST: $35.00 (entree and choice of 3 mains) – dessert @ $7.50 and drinks extra

Payment must be received by Lynette (Darwin City Public Library), Jayshree (CDU) or Jacqui Bodel (Casuarina Public Library) by this date. All meals MUST be paid for in advance. If you have any dietary requirements please advise Lyn Loone. 

The recipients of the ALIA NT Recognition Award 2012 will be announced at the dinner.
