Library Crawl - Thurs 22nd May 2008
The Library Crawl was well attended with 13 participants made up of: library staff, library students and the general public.
4 libraries & Information Centres were visited:
NT Archives; Minerals & Energy; Darwin Public Library & Northern Territory Library.
A 30 minute presentation was given at each venue, ending at Speakers Cafe in Parliament House for a well earned coffee and chat.
The event was very successful, all participants found the presentations extremely interesting and worthwhile.
This was also a great networking opportunity for the library students. It also gave them exposure to the variety of possible work environments waiting for them!
